This year we again able to fill up the firewood stores for our house in Bartholomä. Under the leadership of Gimli, logs were carried out of the forest until dusk, sawn up and driven to the airfield in the trailer. There we cut them into manageable pieces and piled them up in front of and inside the house. Although the wet weather made us quite dirty, we can now be sure that our house will remain pleasantly warm in the coming winter and spring. After the work was done outside, we ended the day with a sauna and a cosy film evening. In addition, ULF had prepared us a three-course meal including cake.
On Sunday, the house was also thoroughly cleaned and tidied up for the construction seminar coming up a week later.
